These Terms of Service govern your use of cautra.io and the purchase of digital products sold by Kapital International, a company registered in France, trading as Cautra Security / Cautra.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or purchase our products. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
Cautra sells digital products — including PDF kits, editable document templates, and AI-assisted security tools and skills. All products are delivered as digital downloads or as access to digital content immediately after successful payment.

Product descriptions on this site are provided for information purposes. Purchasing takes place on Gumroad's or Claw Mart's platforms and is subject to their respective checkout terms in addition to these Terms of Service.
No refunds once accessed or downloaded. Because our products are digital content that is made available immediately upon purchase, you waive your right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) at the moment you access or download the product.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Digital Content Directive (Directive 2019/770), consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. However, this right is expressly waived when:
By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that, once the content has been made available to you, you lose your right to withdraw from the contract. This acknowledgment is confirmed at checkout before payment is processed.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the same exception applies. By purchasing digital content and consenting to immediate access, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived once download or access begins.
We do not offer refunds for digital products that have been accessed or downloaded. If you experience a technical problem with your download, please contact us at hello@cautra.io and we will resolve it promptly — we will re-send files, fix access issues, or provide an alternative format as needed.
When you purchase a Cautra product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to use the product for your own business or personal purposes.

The standard licence covers one company or organisation. Consultants, MSPs, or fractional operators wishing to use products across multiple client engagements should contact hello@cautra.io for a practice or reseller licence.
AI outputs are starting points, not certified security audits. Our AI-assisted tools and skills are designed to help you get started with security documentation and risk assessment — they are not a substitute for professional advice.
All outputs generated by or included in Cautra's AI-assisted tools, skills, and document templates — including risk assessments, policy drafts, control mappings, and checklists — are provided as starting points for expert review only. They are not:
Before relying on any output from our tools for compliance, regulatory, legal, or contractual purposes, you should have it reviewed by a qualified professional (such as a certified information security professional, solicitor, or compliance adviser).
Cautra makes no warranty that use of our tools or documents will result in compliance with any particular law, regulation, or standard, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, UK GDPR, NIST CSF, or CIS Controls.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Framework references (such as NIST CSF 2.0, EU AI Act, CIS Controls v8) reflect the state of those frameworks as of the product's creation date. We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at cautra.io/terms-of-service. For purchases already made, the terms in effect at the time of purchase apply. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or any purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.
